CrystalClear Vanish Removes Chlorine & Chloramines
- Even low levels of chlorine and chloramines can be extremely toxic to fish at concentrations of less than 0.05 mg/L.
- Water used for fish culture should not contain any residual chlorine, to be considered safe
- Chlorine & chloramines cause gill damage which results in gill lesions. As the lesions thicken the gill filaments become unable to utilize oxygen or release carbon dioxide, resulting in fish death.
- Contains the active ingredient sodium thiosulfate, used to break down chlorine & chloramine (considered to be non-toxic to fish)
